What really blew my mind about this game is how it brings together the visual hallmarks of arcade machines to the world of mobile-first online gambling.
While many developers rely on photoshopped and airbrushed renditions of source material for franchise slots online, NetEnt made the bold decision to go to the arcade roots and bring them back to the future.
The visual design uses the original artwork and colour schemes. But it goes a step further: the casino game even has the horizontal lines that we remember from the old-time TV and arcade monitors! What’s more, all the sound effects are taken from the original, right down to the legendary “Hadouken!”.
